The Department of History at Bilkent University invites applications for a faculty appointment in Modern European History. Candidates will be expected to be able teach general courses in Modern (post 1500) European History, but also more specialized courses within that field. All specialisms, whether national, regional or thematic, will be considered. Preference will be given to those who can demonstrate excellence in research, publications and teaching.
The position will commence 1 September 2015. Candidates must have a PhD awarded by 1 August 2016.
Academic rank, salary and teaching-load will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
