Bilkent University seeks a professional artist/educator with expertise in Physical Theater and Movement to teach a range of undergraduate courses. Candidates with specialization in Suzuki method, Grotowski, Biomechanics or other similar methods and with the ability to also teach fundamentals of either Feldenkrais method, Alexander technique, Tai Chi or others are preferred. Primary responsibilities include design and teach a four-semester physical training curriculum for the undergraduate BA acting program. Other responsibilities include directing a physical theatre project, coaching/assisting department productions, mentoring and advising students and participating in departmental and university service responsibilities.

MFA or MA in related field required.

Candidates with additional specialization in related areas such as mask-work, stage combat, commedia dell'arte, acrobatic skills, etc.
